Protecting your data matters to us, and with MindfulPause it happens to be very simple: the app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.
MindfulPause has no user accounts, no tracking, no analytics tools and no advertising. No data is sent to us or to any third party. The app does not need an internet connection to work.
Your settings (for example the length of the breathing pause) and your personal record (“resisted on purpose” / “opened anyway”) are stored exclusively on your device. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
The breathing pause is triggered by an automation that you set up yourself in the Apple Shortcuts app. That automation runs entirely on your device. MindfulPause receives no information about which apps you use.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, or Cloudflare Germany GmbH). When you open it, the server processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, in order to deliver the page securely (legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in secure provision). We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and no advertising. Fonts are embedded locally (no transfer to third parties such as Google Fonts).
If you write to [email protected], your email is forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google (Gmail) mailbox. We process your details (email address, content) solely in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). This may involve a transfer to the USA (safeguarded by standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
